While searching for land to build our own home, we came across this 18 acre parcel by Bertinetti Lake near Taylorville, Illinois. The size of the parcel was more than we were wanting to take care of. We loved the concept of Bel Haven Subdivision just to the East with its tucked away cul-de-sac and beautiful homes with large lots. Finding a lot this size and location with all the amenities was becoming near impossible. We decided we could continue in that path by offering a new subdivision with large 3/4 acre lots for building not only our dream home but anyone searching for the same thing. With this new development, we could also offer cul-de-sac living on most of the lots for people with families looking for a quiet street to raise their children. Just like us.
